Studied Furniture Design at what is now the Birmingham Institute for Art and Design in the late 70’s, then went on to work at Conran Associates, Pieff Furniture Ltd, Pel Ltd and finally built the product and brand of Boss Design Ltd all in the UK. Has a broad experience in manufacturing and sales, specifically upholstery and swivel chair solutions. As a Consulting Designer has worked for companies in Italy, USA, Poland, UK and Ukraine. The last few years has resulted in a body of Patents for office swivel chair mechanisms now being manufactured in the USA. Currently reviewing the changing office with conceptual solutions for more social working environments.

Has been a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers for over 10 years.
